Banqiao has the most convenient transportation, and it also has the best gourmet! So come to Banqiao and enjoy your meal in either fancy restaurants or cheap local food stands.

雲香雲南泰國美食 is the kind of restaurants that does not attract you by its look, but makes you come again and again cus you'll miss the flavor and the cheap price. It is located at No. 9, Hsin-min St., Banqiao Dist. (板橋區新民街9號), right next to FE21 department store, and about 5 minutes walk from Banqiao rail/MRT station. There are almost no discussions or gourment diaries about this restaurant on the Internet (yet!), since it really did not have any promotional activities, and it is quite newly opened. But that would be a good thing, since there will be no queue to get in, and less waiting for your meal to be served. It has special price set menu for different numbers of people. My last visit was with my family members (5ppl in total). We had 7 dishes and one soup, and it cost only NTD1000 including desserts! But one dish was on the house, since the restaurant provides a point card: one hundred dollars consumed will earn one point, and when eight points are collected, you can have one dish for free next time! From my experiences, eight points can be really easily acheived, since it really is both tasty and cheap, and will make you want to visit again and again!
